NEEDLEPUNCHING

We have in place a state-of-the-art European Needlepunch line as well as a Korean Needlepunch line. This process involves the bonding of fibres mechanically by means of needles. Some of the salient features of the machines are as under:

Production Capacity: 7,200 Tons per annum
Width: upto 3.50 meters

STITCHBONDING

A Stitchbond malivlies line involves special needles to mechanically bond and form a special structure of nonwoven fabric.

SPECIAL FINISHES

This process involves the use of speciality based chemicals and binders to impart special finishes to the nonwoven fabric. Some examples of the finishes we regularly process are:

  • Oil and water repellent
  • Stain repellent
  • Teflon resistance
  • Flame retardant
  • Anti-microbial

CALENDARING

We can calendar our fabric and felt by applying heat and pressure to provide “Premium Surface”, dimensional stability and maintain thickness across the width.

SINGEING

Surface of a Felt is smoothened by passing it through a gas flame, burning protruding fibres and for more efficient bonding. The end product is a high abrasion resistant fabric. Generally, it is required to increase the strength and efficiency of the Filter media.

LAMINATION & EXTRUSION

This machine applies a layer of polymeric compounds (LDPE / HDPE) on the surface of a nonwoven to make it thermo-plastic. We can also sandwich multiple layers of fabrics together to form a single substrate.
